PRE-OP INSTRUCTIONS

Fourteen days prior to surgery:

 

Do not take Vitamin E, Aspirin or Aspirin products, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (i.e. Ibuprofen, Aleve, Nuprin, Coumadin, Advil, Motrin, Clinoril, Indocin, Lodine, Daypro, Relafin, or Feldene) herbal supplements or naturopathic remedies.

 

Evening before surgery:

 

Please restrict all caffeine intake for one day prior to surgery and restrict all alcohol intake for 2 days prior to surgery.

 

You may take a bath or shower, after which please do not put anything on your skin with the exception of deodorant if desired.

 

If needed, take prescriptions as prescribed.

 

Day of surgery:

 

If you take medications routinely, you may take them with water.

 

EATING IS PREFERRED PRIOR TO PROCEDURE
