POTASSIUM-RICH FOODS
If your physician has prescribed you Aldactone or Neoral, it is important that you avoid certain foods that are high in potassium while on the medication. Sports drinks, such as Gatorade, also contain potassium.
Remember:
Almost all foods contain some potassium. The serving size affects whether the foods have low, moderate, or high levels of potassium. A large portion of a low-potassium food can turn it into a high-potassium food.
